2018 Tech Review: Appel iPhone X Review. Dr Phone Repair Limited, Queen Street, Auckland, #drphonerepair, #drphonenz

The iPhone X is the huge leap forward that Apple's handsets needed after ten years, and it's even better in 2018 thanks to a more stable iOS 11.3 update. Aside from the original iPhone in 2007, this new iPhone is having the biggest impact on Apple’s smartphone direction ever.

Update: iPhone X has been updated to iOS 11.3, and iOS 12 will launch in beta in a few weeks at Apple's WWDC 2018 keynote. We've updated this review to note the software changes.

2017 Tech Report: Samsung Galaxy S8 Review. Dr Phone Repair Limited, Queen Street, Auckland 094192529

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are the best Android phones you can buy, and they’re not even finished yet. Starting at a fairly steep $750 and $850, respectively, Samsung’s new flagship phones forge a beautiful new path for smartphone design by stripping away unsightly bezels with their respective 5.8- and 6.2-inch infinity displays, and these are the first handsets to boast Qualcomm’s beastly Snapdragon 835 processor for record-breaking performance.

Samsung’s new Bixby virtual assistant is incomplete, and we’re not fans of the fingerprint sensor’s location. But when you add in excellent battery life and improvements to a camera that was already top-notch, you have two winning handsets with the Galaxy S8 and S8+.

The design itself feels like the future!  No offense to the LG G6, but the Galaxy S8 exemplifies a bezel-free phone done right. Samsung didn’t just take away the bezels on this phone; it crafted a space-age work of art with a new infinity display that stretches from edge to edge. The Galaxy S8 not only has a slightly bigger screen-to-body ratio than LG’s phone but also looks sleeker because of the way the Gorilla Glass curves toward the edges on the front and back. Other Android phones look like blah, flat slabs by comparison. The S8 is also thinner and narrower than the G6.

How To Copy Music To Apple Watch From Apple iPhone And Use It As Standalone Apple iPod Touch? Dr Phone Repair, Queen Street, Auckland #drphonerepair, #drphone, #094192529

Here’s how you can copy music on your Apple Watch from your iPhone in a few easy steps. More details on this can be found here.

The Apple Watch is capable of all kinds of things from telling you the time to ordering you a cab and plenty of places in-between. It can also act as a new-age iPod too, though you’ll need a pair of Bluetooth earphones if you’re going to listen to music from your wrist. Or speakers if you want to go that way. We won’t judge you.

While Apple Watch allows you to listen to your entire music library from your iPhone remotely without having to copy the tracks over to the Watch itself, there are times when you would want to listen to music directly from Watch without having your iPhone around. Fortunately, Apple Watch allows you to do that easily. With up to 2GB of the Apple Watch’s 8GB of internal storage usable for music storage you should get around 500 tracks onto the thing before too much trouble, so here’s what you need to do.

Step 1: Head on over to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Select ‘Music.’ Pretty self explanatory so far, no?

Step 3:
Tell the Apple Watch how you want to manage storage by heading over to ‘Playlist Limit.’ Do you want to limit the number of songs that are synced, or just tell the Apple Watch to work to a specified storage capacity?

Step 4: Once that decision has been made you need to tell the iPhone which music to sync across to your wrist by going over to the ‘Synced Playlist’ section. This is a case of selecting a playlist as that’s the only song management option available. It’s not ideal, but it works.

Note: You can create playlists on your iPhone using the stock iOS Music app.

Step 5: Sit back and wait. You might want to get a coffee – Bluetooth isn’t particularly quick. And also, the music will only sync if your Apple Watch is on charge.

And you’re done. Now you’re all set to run around with nothing but your Apple Watch and Bluetooth earphones and without a care in the world. Especially if you believe Apple’s ads!
